In May 2021, I retired from our family business after working alongside my husband for 15 years. Shortly after my retirement, my mother was placed in hospice care and passed away within a month. I felt lost and experienced grief like I had never known before. A couple of months later, my husband and I started caring for his mother. Unfortunately, she quickly declined and passed away in 2022. With no career, my children off at college and focused on their own lives, and the profound loss in our family, I found myself facing a significant turning point.I turned to art in search of direction in my life, and it quickly blossomed into a passion that brought me excitement,  healing, and happiness once more. I am blessed to have a supportive husband and friends who encouraged me to share my art with others. I can’t express enough gratitude for their encouragement and love.
